I’ve taken the time finally to go through my many photos of my time in Minneapolis. I plan to share them all with you, so let’s get started with MIA!
Before I arrived in Minneapolis, I made a list of the many things that I wanted to do. When I go somewhere whether for business or pleasure, I like to make the most of it. See new things and try new things. The Minneapolis Institute of Art was first on my list.
I love art. I’m a very visual person, and art just revives my aesthetic. It inspires me.
I wanted to experience life as a local living downtown, so I decided to walk to MIA. In a dress, flat sandals, and red lipstick, I stuck out for sure. *smh During my 30 minute trek to the institute, every homeless person that I encountered spoke to me. Not sure what that was an indication of, but I absolutely spoke back. I felt unsafe at moments and wanted to turn around, but I didn’t. I walked confidently like I knew exactly where I was going. I made it safely. In retrospect, I will never do that again. Uber, please! lol Me and my adventures. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy a few of things that inspired me.
